The history of The Vision of Escaflowne
In the beginning... Hitomi Kanzaki was an ordinary student with no problems
more than deciding what to wear that day. Hitomi is a high school freschman who likes to tell fortunes and run on the track
team. She has visions of the future which are often correct. Hitomi has a pendant given to her by her grandmother, that seems
to have some kind of connection to the Energist used to power the Escaflowne. That is until a mysterious swordsman, Van, appears
to her. Suddenly she is drawn into the World or Gaia, where her normal life is never going to be the same.
